Always Be Yourself

Good day! I hope that Monday is going well for all of you - the most difficult day of the week :))

So there is new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. This week we have a twist - create your own challenge. So i chose Tag, Encouragement and Burlap. This what i came up with:

I decided to make something out of my comfort zone - a boy tag. But while i was making it i decided to make a girl tag too because these images from Melonheadz Illustrating are so cute that i could not resist. So here is a girl tag:

For this tag instead of burlap i chose metallic as i covered the key with mettalic enamel (but somehow you almost could not see it on the picture...).

Easter

Good day, everyone! Finally we have some sunny days here - it is so wonderful! Maybe because of Easter days :))

Today i want to share with you Easter decoration i made for us this year. I wanted it to look as some sort of egg, so that is why it has three sides. The first one:

Yes, i got really crazy with flowers this time - even do not know why :)))

My idea was to use red-pink-brown colour combo, but it started to live its own life so in the end there was yellow everywhere :)))

Witchy Bookmark

Good day! I hope you are doing fine and enjoying warm days :))

This is Sunday and the time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. As always it is anything goes but this time - with no twist! So come and play with us!
And guess what i made for this challenge? Right, another bookmark! Here it is:

I am in love with Terry Pratchet's books. For two years his Discworld series is my favourite. So when i saw this stamp from Rick St Dennis called Witchy Birthday i remembered at once one of three Lancre's witches Nanny Ogg. So i made the bookmark with this stamp and used one of my favourite phrases that she said :)

So here is the close up of this great stamp:

It was a pleasure to colour it! And as always i used my Promarkers and Copics.

To make sure that bookmark will not slip out of my book i made magnetic lock:

So now i can be sure that bookmark will stay on it's place :))

Wishing you rainbows

Good day, everyone! I hope you are fine and enjoyed the eclipse in the morning - it was very interesting to see!

Today i want to show you another birthday card. One of my former co-workers will turn 50 tomorrow and i wanted to make clear and simple birthday card as he is a boy :)) So i came up with this:

For a long time i wanted to try watercolor background and it was a perfect opportunity. I used Tim Holz's Distess Ink and totally satisfied with the result :))
And close-up of cute Flower Tilda with Bowknot from Animal of the Year collection which i coloured with my Promarkers and Copics:

I also stamped the santiment "Wishing you rainbows and sunshine" from Sweet Rainboe Collection and coloured it with Distress Ink as well.

Notebook or 613 Avenue Create Challange #115

Good day!
I hope you are enjoying this great Sunday. We have fog here - but still it is spring! And you can finally feel it :))
And it is time for new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. For this challenge i created...:

...a notebook. I was thinking to make it for a long time and finnaly did it. Here is the other side of the cover:

I made the pages look old with tea. And this bookmark i made using the threads of blue and lilac colour:

For the cover i used the image from Fitztown called Valentine 12 - it was just perfect! I coloured it with my Promarkers and Copics:

I was having this lilac fabric for long time and finally i found the reason to use it. For image background i used packing paper - we have a lot of it left after the moving:) I made "rings" for the notebook from the same threads i used for bookmark. And for lock i used pack-thread :)

Good day! At last - spring has come! Of course weather still does not know about it but warmth is on its way...i hope!
We have new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. This week we are celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday. And we are making birthday cards.
I made one for a little girl who almost made her very first year! In two days i will present her this card but right now i want to share it with you:

Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine Stamps and i used this great Fairy Godmother Sugi stamp which is just perfect for girl card. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and Copics. Close-up:

Bookmark

Good day!
I am still waiting for some warmth and maybe a beam of sunshine. But all i can see outside is the fog. So i decided to create spring myself.
I love reading. And sometimes i can read few books at the same time. And of coure there is always lack of bookmarks. So i made one:

I had this lovely piece of paper and i wanted to use it somewhere. And it is my favourite colour - green - which is the colour of spring :) So now i am happy!
